“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.”
Quote by Edgar Degas
The majority of my works are done with a black, ballpoint pen, although in recent years, I have been experimenting with different mediums, such as colored pencil, paints, coffee and teas. I think that for any individual, it is always a benefit to experiment with different techniques as one might learn something from themselves from what a new experience or outcome may bring.
I really do appreciate all of those who comment and/or view my work. Having said this, I would rather my work to be commented on rather than just favorited. Giving feedback, critiques, pointers, and reasons as to why one might have liked a piece of my work are always helpful.
I am a fan of many types of foreign films and have an interest in many cultures. My style, I do dearly hope, may bare a resemblance, as they are of great inspiration. All my life, I have grown up with the influence of films and novels all around me. From both different cultures and different eras.
Anyhow, thank you for having taken the time to read this little introduction. With my time dedicated precisely towards my artwork, this gives me the chance to improve on my neatness, detailing, patience, and a chance to appreciate other cultures of art.
